6 Tips for the Perfect Bachelorette Trip to Scottsdale AZ

Bachelorette Party Tips for Scottsdale AZ

Congratulations to you or your friends upcoming wedding! Bachelorette parties are such a fun experience and planning them isn’t too challenging truthfully. I went to my first ever Bachelorette trip this past April and had such a lovely time celebrating my friend and bride to be down in Scottsdale. I was also part of the party planning committee and I think we did a fabulous job. The key to a solid Bachelorette weekend is to combine relaxation with fun activities for a well rounded and successful trip. To learn of my tips to doing so, keep on reading!

One: Visit Wine Girl

Not long after arriving to Scottsdale we went to Wine Girl bar in old town. This adorable wine bar is the perfect bachelorette location, so many parties were there and they treated our bride to a necklace and cookie. Not only were they incredibly thoughtful but the drinks were positively fabulous. I will say you are to spend a minimum of $40 a person so do go into it knowing you will spend a lot of money. Alongside the financial planning will be the preparing in advance via a reservation. We booked ours about 6 weeks ahead of time and that was almost too late for our party of 6. When planning a Bachelorette party, the sooner you can prepare the better!

Pro tip: get the Aperol Spritz if you go. It’s my all time favorite cocktail and they did them exquisitely. If Aperol isn’t your thing, try the lavender spritz it was just as good!

Two: Schedule time for Breaks

Something I am so grateful for was scheduling in breaks to relax and unwind between activities. On Friday we went a bit hard but Saturday morning was peaceful by the pool. Our trip was a Friday morning to Sunday evening affair so we had the perfect amount of time to both party and rest. If we didn’t have that time to relax, I think we would have been incredibly burnt out and struggling to continue the excitement through Sunday. Plus with the relaxation time we were able to do fun things like the Newlywed Game and get to know other attendees. While our bride didn’t have a wedding party, she did have 5 close friends attend and I was able to meet and learn a ton about each gal due to these breaks.

Three: Rent the Champagne Train

Another amazing thing we did was rent the Champagne Train experience in Scottsdale. Our ride was actually gifted since I am an influencer but I would have easily paid for this otherwise. The bartenders were super sweet and the drinks got us all pretty chipper. Each ride is typically a few hours but we rode around for one hour and it was a great amount of time. I felt like we saw a lot of the main drag in Old Town plus they drop you off right at a bar to experience nightlife. As an added perk, they have partnerships with some local bars to provide parties with discounts so you aren’t completely blowing your budget!

Four: Stay at Piccadilly

Looking for the perfect house to stay at in Scottsdale? I recommend the Piccadilly house hosted by Sway Rentals. I will be completely transparent the staff was not the kindest to myself and the bridal party and there were some hiccups getting situated however the house itself was quite nice and in a prime location. As a pro tip, if you do opt for this property be sure to order directly through the company. It’s a little cheaper than Air BnB which is always a plus. Oh, and we had 6 girls staying and we all slept comfortably in the three rooms. If you have 8 women there is a pullout bed in the living room that they could use as well.

Pro Tip: Opt for an Air BnB if you travel with a group. It’s easier than a hotel plus you can easily go grocery shopping nearby to pick up essentials. We saved a ton by avoiding going out to eat!

Five: Connect with Promotors for Free Clubbing VIP

If clubbing is your thing and you are feeling particularly brave, reach out to club promotors in the square! I am used to doing this after years of going out in Vegas and Scottsdale operates in a similar fashion. We just sent a few messages saying we were a bachelorette party looking to celebrate and we had a whole table with free drinks. The promotor had us there early enough as well so we didn’t have to sit with anyone seedy which was nice. Of course vet out anyone you chat with but it’s honestly not a bad avenue to go down for a budget friendly party option

Pro tip: try Cake as your club! We had a female promotor which made me feel safe and they took great care of us throughout the night. Plus Cake has a gorgeous aesthetic which is perfect for photo opportunities and everything was nice and strong.

Six: Always put your Bride First

My final tip for a solid bachelorette party is to put the bride first! It’s her weekend after all and any input she may have is going to make the trip that much better. My bride had a few locations she had to see so taking those things into account made for an easier time planning. Plus you should know the bride rather well going into the experience so think of things that she would enjoy and space activities out accordingly. Scottsdale has so much to do and you can’t really go wrong however you go about the trip. As long as everyone is safe and has fun, it will be a memory for the ages!

Safe Travels

I hope this post is helpful to any bride or bachelorette planner! Getting prepared for an event like this is a daunting task and if you are from out of town like I am, preparing for Scottsdale can be tricky! Fortunately everything is pretty close in this city and people are rather kind. I felt safe walking everywhere and while we had a plan for the weekend we were also flexible and made the trip our own.
