Summer Midsize Outfit Ideas

Midsize Fashion Outfits of the Week

This week was such a treat! I finally felt like I was back to my old self and old routine, it was much needed after a few weeks of bereavement. Alongside this newfound zest for life has been a ton of cute outfit ideas! I did everything from go to farmers markets to attending a wedding. The midsize friendly wedding guest dress is last and you won’t want to miss what I wore. I got so many compliments and the dress is under $75. To learn more about my outfits, keep on reading.

Best Amazon Activewear

Surprise! This isn’t a matching set! It looks like it though and I’m in love. What I’m wearing is a tank from a 3 pack on Amazon alongside a pair of biker shorts from a separate pack. I love how much bang you get for your buck on Amazon, it’s so great! To complete the look for the gym, I just added my favorite belt bag and some lightweight white sneakers. You could also add a big tee if that is more your style or you could opt for a button down if you’re somewhere chillier. Either way, basic looking sets are a great way to start off an outfit and if you plan out the colors of your sets, you can mix and match for days!

Parachute Pants Outfit

Have you purchased parachute pants yet?? I got mine from Urban Outfitters and they are my new favorite fashion find. I sized up to a L and have been wearing them at least once a week. As I’ve become more comfortable in these pants, I’ve started to get a bit more experimental. Nowadays you can find my wearing more crop tops with these low rise bottoms and I’m liking it! For this outfit, I’ve worn a crop tank from Amazon and completed the look with my favorite black sandals. Nothing beats a simple outfit like this and since the accessories are so neutral and simple, the pants really get a chance to shine. It’s a win win.

Denim Midi Skirt Outfit

Our third outfit from this week is my take on farmer/vintage. Granted it’s not very vintage but your girl is trying. Nonetheless I wore this very simple black bodysuit with a v neck both in the front and back. I then styled it with my favorite denim midi skirt, a new wardrobe staple for me. I’ve worn it several times this spring and I can easily see it transferring well into summer and fall. It’s such a basic shade of denim that it pairs nicely with a variety of tops. Now, since I was styling for summer, I wore a pair of basic sandals to complete the look. You’ll have seen these in most outfits this week but that’s due to their versatility and comfort. It’s something that just can’t be beat!

Blue Corset Wedding Guest Dress

The moment you’ve been waiting for, my wedding guest dress! I am obsessed with this piece from NanaMacs Boutique, it’s just stunning with the corset top and cutouts in the skirt. If you need extra support, the dress also comes with gold chain detail and it’s only $52. The quality I found was fabulous and it worked well all night long. To make myself a hair taller since the dress is pretty long, I added my favorite low block heels from Steve Madden. I’ve had them forever and don’t plan to get rid of them anytime soon. They’re a shoe that goes with everything and is great for grassy weddings. To complete the look, I brought my favorite Gucci handbag and called it a day. Sometimes you need to let the garments do all of the talking and keep the rest to a minimum.
