I am SO thrilled to share that one of my favorite local boutiques to the Spokane area, Rebel Hart, now has a secondary location downtown! Located in the heart of Spokane WA and in collaboration with Small Town Rootz, this new boutique has the cutest garments for upcoming wedding events, date nights, and everyday adventures. As a midsize girl myself I am tickled pink to share this brand because they are also size inclusive. I didn’t find myself struggling much to wear the clothing available and boy did I feel cute wearing everything I tried. To see my top picks, keep on reading!
Graphic Tee and Shorts Outfit
Starting off strong I have the best comfy day outfit! If you didn’t know, I am a huge graphic tee girly. I’ve been collecting them for years now and will always reach for one throughout the week. This mushroom graphic in particular is a personal favorite because I love mushrooms and the colors are so cute for this time of year. To keep the outfit comfortable yet elevated, I added these awesome shorts. I like that they are lightweight and flowy, it’s a great combination for summer and since they’re a neutral you can easily dress them down like I did here or dress them up for a date night. Just opt for something like a bodysuit in that instance to balance out the volume.
Casual Pre Fall Outfit Idea
I don’t know about you but I love pre-fall outfits and transitional styles to get you from summer to fall. Perhaps it’s the former Nordstrom girl in me but I just adore it. Coming in hot for fall 2023, think neutrals and anything goes for denim. I really like this shirt jacket in particular because it’ll be ideal for layering and I can’t wait to see it at the pumpkin patch. It’s also cute buttoned up if you want to go for a completely different outfit. With the jeans, try looser styles this fall. I like this relaxed option from Rebel Hart because they’re super comfortable and since they’re slightly cropped you can wear a ton of different shoes with them.
Pro Tip: come to Rebel Hart for accessories as well as clothing pieces! I like the black belt they carry, it has a great western edge and the silver detail is a little unexpected. You could also wear it with dresses or skirts to break up an outfit and give yourself that hourglass figure.
Perfect Green Wedding Guest Dress
I won’t lie to you, dresses like this worry me some as a midsize gal but this green dress fit me like a glove and I just felt gorgeous in it. I did go for a size L and it worked quite well especially since it has a zipper. Midi slip dresses like this are some of my favorite fashion pieces for 2023. I have a few pieces like this now and they go with anything from denim jackets, blazers, and look just as great with boots or heels. I also like how this dress has a print, it’s something you don’t see often and it’s fresh for this season. The best part of Rebel Hart is their gorgeous curated pieces that give boho vibes for far less than stores like Free People. I will always be a fan!
Midi Slip Dress Outfit
Our final piece is this beautiful midi slip dress! I actually took this one home because it’s perfect for special events or a first date! It fit me like a glove and hugs the curves perfectly. I also like how it has the tie detail in the front, I haven’t really seen it on dresses like this and it’s the perfect nod to the early 2000s. The colors in this dress also will work well into the fall, you can then layer it with a chunky white sweater or your favorite leather jacket. It’s also a good color for sneakers since it’s a bit on the shorter side. Overall I am one happy camper and I think you will be too!
