Top 10 Amazon Finds from August 2023
August slipped away from a moment in time already and I found the coolest products in that month from Amazon! As we end the summer, it’s time to look at my top 10 fashion and beauty faves for the month. I will be honest I did get a lot of pre-fall items so now is the perfect time to shop and collect these pieces. From the best basic tops to the trendiest shoes for less, I am always thrilled to add Amazon products to my collection. Amazon Fashion
White and black matching set
Starting off strong we have this gorgeous matching set from Amazon! I love the wide legged pant, the boxy fit of the tee and the overall color way. This outfit definitely gives “old money” vibes but for a fraction of the price. I personally have been wearing this to business meetings and on various road trips this month. Having traveled a ton this summer I have really learned to appreciate a good set. They are so easy to pack and can be mixed with other staples in your wardrobe.
Pro tip: don’t be afraid to style knitwear and summery sets with sneakers and sporty accessories. I think a juxtaposition from classy to street style makes for an especially unique outfit. Plus this is such a comfortable combination that it makes wearing the outfit that much easier.
Satin trousers
Each week I receive questions about workwear and business casual attire. As a person who works from home, it can be challenging for me to collect professional garments but this pair of pants from Amazon has honestly been a great find. Come fall and winter, I love playing with more luxurious fabrics like satin because it automatically elevates and outfit and tends to be a forgiving fabric overall. Whether you are a teacher or working in an office setting, I think these trousers are the perfect wardrobe staple to add interest to an outfit!
Pro tip: keep tops fitted when wearing these trousers. They naturally have a lot of volume and are more of a statement so the rest of the garments in the outfit should be on the more simplistic side. Unless you are a maximalist then go wild!
Pink trousers
Continuing with the trouser theme, I am loving these hot pink trousers also from Amazon! They are a looser fit and funnily enough close with velcro. I don’t mind the unique closure however since I ordered them a size bigger than I normally wear. Nonetheless these pants are perfect for the office or any elevated occasion this fall. Whether you are opting for a sneaker or a flat, colorful pants are a great way to beat the autumn blues.
Pro tip: for an extra colorful outfit, go monochromatic with a pink sweater. I am trying to get better at bold outfits and nothing is brighter than two hot pink garments together! For accessories, try something nude like a ballet flat. It will mellow out the overall look and won’t make you look too crazy.
Oversized zip up
One thing Amazon does perfectly? Dupes! I found this Lululemon lookalike that is super comfortable and easy to throw on for the gym or errands. A solid basic like this zip up is great for any woman’s wardrobe. It’ll keep you warm heading into the fall and looks far pricier than it actually is. When shopping for a sweatshirt, I always look for something loose and heavier. Spokane gets pretty cold during the wintertime so I like something with a great quality and simple design. You really can’t go wrong with basics!
White active romper
One garment I have really started to enjoy this year has been the active jumpsuit and romper. I got this from a new to me brand Qinsen on Amazon and boy is it nice! While the white is a bit see through unfortunately, it’s overall a great garment that is both comfortable and easy to style. It has a built in bra as well which makes it even easier to throw on for the gym or casual events. If you haven’t tried this style of garment, this is definitely your sign to give them a try because they are a really easy trend to wear and mix into a casual wardrobe.
Pro tip: if you get something see through, layer something on top! I love a good button down, especially this one from Free People. It’s super comfortable, nice and oversized and pairs well with such a fitted base garment. Fashion is about illusions if nothing else!
Cherry cardigan
Now, I do not typically wear kitschy knitwear and garments but this cherry cardigan was so unique and fun for fall! I love how it’s a cropped style, open and the color is everything. For my teachers in particular this is such a cute piece for the classroom. I adore how colorful teacher wardrobes are and the cherries are such a fun addition. If you are more low key, Amazon does have other colors available in this style but I think pink is a safe go-to. By now you can tell it’s certainly one of my favorite colors!
Three Piece Knit set
Something I am trying more from Amazon this year is loungewear and three piece sets. I absolutely love this one, the brown color is too perfect and it’s oddly enough going viral right now on YouTube! It’s incredibly comfortable to wear all day, the tank is a great length and the cardigan goes well with both the set and on its own. I love a good set for the aforementioned reasons but a three piece set is even more fun. As the seasons change, I definitely notice myself in more comfortable outfits because I turn into more of a homebody. Little outfits like this make my life so much easier and I just adore it!
short cowboy boots
One shoe I did not expect to love as much as I do is the low cowboy boot! This shorter western style is surprisingly so comfortable and goes well with a million different outfit options. I’ve been wearing them with anything from slip dresses to denim skirts and flare jeans. I think they’re very versatile and keep your feet warm for the fall. Plus this type of boot is super trendy for 2023 and is rather affordable from Amazon! That’s seriously my favorite part of shopping from Amazon, everything is affordable and comes fairly quickly so I can look and feel my best ASAP!

Ice Roller
This past year I have been hooked on ice rolling in the morning. I used one brand for quite some time from Amazon but I’ll be honest I broke that roller on about 3 separate occasions. Now, I am trying this two pack option and it’s been amazing so far! I can drop it without shattering the roller and I love that it comes with a spare in case something were to happen.
Pro tip: keep these in the freezer and take them out after a hot shower! I like to roll in the morning before I do my skincare and makeup but this would work just as well at night. The key is to treat it like gua shua and roll with intention across the face.

Our last find isn’t very exciting but man is it good! I got this 6 pack of sponges for the kitchen from Amazon and they have helped me so much. While they aren’t the greatest quality, they came pretty quickly and scrub my dishes without affecting the nonstick coating. I also like how inexpensive they were, it makes me feel better cycling through them as food residue builds up. When shopping for any kind of sponge, don’t feel like you need to splurge. It’s a product that is meant to have a short life and should be treated as such.
